Distribution

Install the runtime you actually need.

Local is the macOS development runtime. Cloud is optional and can be self-hosted. WordPress is distributed separately and remains under WordPress.org manual review.

MCPDO Local

Free macOS Apple Silicon build for files, Git, terminal, tests, browser development tooling, Docker, and local WordPress projects.

v0.1.1arm64Ad-hoc signed
This deployment does not carry the public Local artifact. Use the main MCPDO distribution origin.

MCPDO Cloud

Optional self-hosted remote relay/control plane. Requires Node.js 24–26 and a trusted HTTPS origin or TLS ingress.

v0.1.1Self-hosted
This deployment does not carry the public Cloud archive. Use the main MCPDO distribution origin.

MCPDO for WordPress

The WordPress/WooCommerce runtime is independently useful and does not require Local or Cloud.

WordPress.org review pending
Public directory installation will be linked here only after WordPress.org approval. The currently submitted package stays frozen while manual review is pending.

Before installing

Verify the checksum of every downloaded artifact before use.

Verify: keep the artifact and its .sha256 file in the same folder, then run shasum -a 256 -c <checksum-file>. The check must report OK.
macOS: open the DMG, move MCPDO Local to Applications, then launch it. Because the current free build is ad-hoc signed rather than notarized, use Finder → right-click → Open if macOS presents the standard trust prompt.
Self-hosted Cloud: extract the archive, run node cloudctl.mjs init, configure a trusted HTTPS origin, run node cloudctl.mjs doctor, then install the user service. Cloud execution remains bounded by the paired Local runtime.
